Senator project showcases results at RTR Conference on sustainable urban logistics

From February 11th to 13th, 2025, the RTR Conference on Road Transport Research and Innovation Projects took place at the EGG conference center in Brussels. Organized by the European Commission in collaboration with the European Road Transport Research Advisory Council (ERTRAC), EGVIAfor2Zero, CCAM, and the Batteries European Partnership Association (BEPA), the event gathered experts, policymakers, and researchers to present outcomes from EU-funded projects under Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe.

Angela Núñez, partner and project coordinator from Correos, represented the Senator Project in the dedicated session “Digital Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Urban Logistics”.  Alongside projects such as UNCHAIN, DISCO, URBANE, ECARBOMILE, and GREEN-LOG, Angela presented the project’s key findings on urban logistics optimization, data-driven freight management, and sustainable last-mile delivery, highlighting its role in advancing eco-friendly and efficient transport solutions.

“We have started a journey towards increasingly connected and digitalised logistics, where new technologies such as AI will be fundamental in the future of logistics” Says Angela, project coordinator.
